  11. This program is for sending Short Messages to mobile phones of 160 Characters.
  12.  The original SMSMaster program was only for the PeeCee and is now going through a
  13.  complete rewrite to take full advantage of the Windoze 95 32bit architecture. After
  14.  numerous emails asking for a port of the PeeCee version I decided to write my new
  15.  version for the Amiga.
  16.  
  17.     To send a message, you need to know the message, the mobile phone number to
  18.  send the message to, and the Network Operator of that mobile phone. Ideally, you
  19.  should not need to know the Network Operator, but the UK operators currently do not
  20.  allow SMS messages to be passed between UK networks.

  22.     This has the unfortunate effect that, for example, a Cellnet subscriber cannot
  23.  send an SMS message to a Vodafone subscriber, without resorting to using an SMSC
  24.  other than that provided by Cellnet. Whilst the Network Operators continue to fail
  25.  to provide full connectivity, you will need to know which network a phone is connected
  26.  to, to ensure successful routing of the message.

  28.     To make life easier, SMSMaster includes a database of UK phone numbers and
  29.  Network Operators, to automatically route the SMS message to the correct network.

  31.     Currently this software only works with Cellnet and Vodafone numbers and within
  32. the UK.

  34.     To use this software a minimum of 4Mb of ram should be used and WB3.
